Statements are a list of your transactions with Crane for the month that the statement covers.

So your November Statement includes a list of all the Invoices & Credit notes raised on your account over November.

The beauty of online statements is that you can open copies of your invoices up from right inside your statement as you’re checking them off.

NB: Your statement is a carbon copy of the statement you receive in the post or via email; therefore the amounts do not change to reflect payments made since the statement was issued.

Opening Invoices from Your Statement

The beauty of online statements is that they contain links to online copies of the invoices they include, this means when you’re reconciling your statement you can open the invoices from right inside your statement to check them off instead of having to fossick through your filing cabinet looking for the particular invoice.

To do this open a statement, and click on either the Invoice number of the invoice you want to open or the view icon next to it.

This will pop open a new window or tab displaying a copy of the invoice or credit note which you can either download as a PDF, email to someone, add to a project  or transfer the contents onto a Quote or Invoice to give to one of your customers.

To learn how to do this see the Help Section on Invoices & Credit Notes.

One you’ve checked off the copy of the invoice, to return to your statement simply close down the new Tab or window and your statement will still be open for you to click on the next invoice you want to check off.

NB: Be careful not to close down the whole browser
