Introduction

Search Products is where you can view products, prices, images, specifications docs, CAD files and compliance documents online.

To do this click on Product Search under My Account.

This will take you to the page where you search our catalogue for products you need to get a price for.

If you know our item code for the product you are looking for, simply enter this and it will come up straight away, if however you don't know our item code you will have to search by description.

To do this simply enter some keywords that describe the product into the search box and click the Search button.

This will return all products containing the key word you search for which you can either:

The only proplem with using this method is that unless you know exactly how we describe the product or the item code itself you might have difficulty finding what you are looking for.

The key to searching for products online is: "Less is More".

Don't try and describe the product exactly instead search for something very broad like; Pipe, Cable, PVC, Copper, Brass, PDL etc and then use the filters to narrow your search down.

Narrowing Your Search Results Down

If you still can’t find what you are looking for, you can narrow your search results down by drilling down through the product categories and sub categories.

To do this simply choose the department the product belongs to, the group, sub group, brand, style, colour and WELS rating (if applicable).

You can do this without even searching first, simply by drilling your way down through the product categories, until you find what you are looking for.

To choose a different category to search in simply click the delete icon next to the category you’ve currently selected, or to start over completely simply enter a new search term into the search box and click search or enter and it will start your search from scratch.

Filtering Your Searches by Your Recent Purchases

If you have a long established spend history with us, the best way to search is to filter your searches by your recent purchases.

To do this simply enter a very broad, generic keyword like e.g. Copper, Pipe, Cable, Brass, PDL etc into the search box provided and click the Frequently Ordered Items filter.

This will return your current pricing for all products you’ve purchased over the last 12 months containing the keyword you searched for.

To remove the filter simply click the remove filter icon

Filtering Your Searches by Your Templates

If you don’t have a long established spend history with us, filtering your product searches by your historical purchases is not going to be much use to you.
So instead of doing this you can filter you searches by your templates.

Templates are like custom product categories for storing related groups of products in, they can either be job specific e.g. a Toilet Installation or product specific e.g. a PVC Template or a PDL template.

To filter your searches by products in a particular template simply enter a keyword for the product you’re looking for into the search box provided and click the template you want to search in.

This will return your current pricing for all products in the template you searched inside, containing the keyword you entered.
